Coil System

Package is coil-free: There are no coils inside the cartridges. SMOK RPM 2 coils must be purchased separately for use.
Compatible Device and Coil
Do Not Confuse: There are two different cartridge types for the SMOK IPX 80: RPM and RPM 2. This product is the IPX 80 RPM 2 Pod model. Standard RPM coils do not fit this cartridge; only RPM 2 coils must be used.

E-Liquid Warning: The RPM 2 Mesh 0.16Ω coil is designed for high vapor production and direct-to-lung vaping. High-nicotine salt e-liquids are not recommended for this coil. If salt e-liquid is used, the RPM 2 DC 0.6Ω MTL coil is a more suitable choice.
Cartridge Installation and First Use
Insert the Coil
The RPM 2 coil is not threaded. Press the coil fully into the slot at the bottom of the cartridge in the correct direction.
Fill with E-Liquid
Open the silicone plug on the side of the cartridge and fill with the appropriate e-liquid. Completely close the silicone plug after filling.
Wait 10–15 Minutes
Wait before first use for the cotton in the new coil to absorb the e-liquid. Do not fire the device during this period.
Things to Consider During Use
- Ensure the coil is fully seated at the bottom of the cartridge.
- Do not exceed the wattage range specified on the coil.
- Add e-liquid before the cartridge empties completely.
- Do not fire the device when there is no e-liquid in the cartridge.
- Do not leave the silicone plug open or loose after filling.
- Clean any excess e-liquid on the outside of the cartridge with a dry paper towel.
- Regularly wipe away condensation underneath the cartridge.
- Replace the coil when a burnt taste or noticeable loss of flavor occurs.
Firing after installing a new coil without filling e-liquid may cause the coil cotton to burn and result in a permanent burnt taste.
