SMOK may release different production batches of the same LP1 resistance value.
The exact wattage range to be used should be based on the value written on the coil or packaging.

Note: A lower resistance coil can vaporize more e-liquid under the same usage conditions.
Therefore, especially when using salt e-liquids, nicotine strength, coil resistance, and personal usage frequency should be evaluated together.

Compatibility warning: LP1 coils are not SMOK Nord, RPM, RPM 2, LP2, or RPM 3 coils.
They do not fit directly into the pods of those series.
Your device or pod must explicitly feature the LP1 designation.
Which E-Liquid Can Be Preferred?
Due to the small e-liquid channels of the pod in LP1 coils, thinner MTL e-liquids should be preferred instead of very thick, high-VG e-liquids.
For general use, a 50/50 PG/VG ratio is the most practical choice.
The 0.9Ω, 1.0Ω, and 1.2Ω options are suitable for tight MTL use, while the 0.8Ω Mesh option is suited for those desiring an airier draw and more pronounced vapor.
How to Prime a New Coil?
Insert the coil
LP1 coils are not threaded. Press the coil straight into the bottom of the pod in the correct orientation so it is fully seated without any gaps.
Fill the e-liquid
Fill the pod to the appropriate level. Take care not to let e-liquid leak directly into the airflow channel.
Wait 10–15 minutes
Wait before first use to allow the cotton to fully absorb the e-liquid. Do not fire the device during this time.
To Maintain Coil Lifespan
- Use the coil within the wattage range written on the packaging or the coil itself.
- Refill e-liquid before the pod empties completely.
- Always wait 10–15 minutes when a new coil is installed.
- Avoid taking very long and frequent consecutive puffs.
- Remember that extremely sweet e-liquids can form residue on the coil much faster.
- Replace the coil when you experience a burnt taste, noticeable flavor loss, or decreased performance.
Coil lifespan varies depending on the e-liquid used, wattage value, puff frequency, and personal usage habits.
A fixed lifespan cannot be guaranteed.
