What kind of liquid is Five Pawns Castle Long?
Five Pawns Castle Long is a premium liquid
that brings together nuts, vanilla, caramelized sugar, and
Bourbon aromas within a multi-layered dessert profile.
At the beginning of the recipe, toasted coconut
and roasted almond stand out.
While Madagascar and French vanilla add a softer, creamier
layer to the blend, caramelized brown sugar deepens the sweetness.
The subtle Kentucky Bourbon touch used in the
final completes Castle Long's darker, warmer, and complex
character.
In Five Pawns' current official recipe, Castle Long is
defined with layers of toasted coconut, roasted almond,
Madagascar & French vanilla, caramelized brown sugar,
and subtle Kentucky bourbon.

Castle Long Aroma Journey
1
Beginning: Toasted Coconut
In the first section, the recipe's characteristic
toasted coconut aroma becomes prominent.
2
Middle Layer: Almond & Vanilla
Roasted almond combines with Madagascar and French
vanilla to create a rounder, fuller-bodied dessert
character.
3
Finish: Brown Sugar & Kentucky Bourbon
The sweetness of caramelized brown sugar combines
with the subtle Bourbon aroma to create a warmer and
longer finish.
Which vanilla is used in Castle Long?
In older Castle Long descriptions, usually only
Madagascar vanilla is mentioned.
In Five Pawns' current official recipe, Madagascar
vanilla and French vanilla are mentioned together.
This dual-vanilla structure creates a soft layer between
drier aromas like almond and coconut.
Kentucky Bourbon Aroma
The Kentucky Bourbon in the Castle Long recipe is defined by
Five Pawns as a subtle essence that completes
the final part of the profile.
The Bourbon character is not the dominant aroma of the
recipe; it is a complementary layer that comes after
toasted coconut, almond, vanilla, and brown sugar.
Kentucky Bourbon here refers to the product's flavor profile.
It should not be concluded that the product contains real
alcoholic beverages based on the aroma name; the bottle
label should be taken as the basis for the product's
actual ingredient declaration.
50VG / 50PG Balanced Formula
Five Pawns' current standard Castle Long product is listed
with a 50PG / 50VG balanced base ratio.

Are Castle Long and Castle Long Reserve the same?
Castle Long
The standard Original Series recipe containing toasted
coconut, almond, Madagascar and French vanilla,
caramelized brown sugar, and subtle Kentucky Bourbon.
Castle Long Reserve
A barrel-aged version of Castle Long, prepared in
limited batches per year and aged in oak barrels
for three weeks by Five Pawns.
The product on this page is the standard Castle Long.
Although standard Castle Long and Castle Long Reserve share
a very similar core aroma family, Reserve is a separate
product that has been barrel-aged.
What is the difference with Castle Long Reserve?
According to Five Pawns' current Castle Long Reserve
MMXXVI description, the Reserve version is prepared in
limited batches once a year and aged for three weeks
in treated oak barrels.
In the Reserve recipe, an American oak texture
is added to the classic coconut, vanilla, almond, brown sugar,
and Bourbon character.
Aging in oak barrels is not mentioned in the official description
of standard Castle Long.
This feature is one of the distinguishing characteristics of the
Castle Long Reserve product.
Five Pawns Original Series
Castle Long is among the Original Series
products that form the foundation of the Five Pawns brand.
Five Pawns defines the Original Series as a premium product line
prepared in small batches and subjected to different development
stages to balance the aroma notes.
Current Five Pawns Active Ingredient Information
Older Five Pawns Castle Long bottles may have been released
with different formulas, such as classic nicotine or, in later
production periods, S-isomer tobacco-free nicotine.
On Five Pawns' current US Castle Long product page, it is
clearly stated that the product contains Metatine.
According to Five Pawns' current statement, Metatine is a
synthetically derived molecule that is structurally similar to
nicotine but chemically different from nicotine.
Therefore, it should not be assumed that the active
ingredient of old and new Castle Long bottles is the same.
The ingredient and strength information on the bottle label
should be taken as the basis for the actual formula of the
product you purchased.
Which devices can it be used with?
50VG / 50PG
Has a more fluid base structure compared to balanced
and high VG liquids.
MTL / Suitable RDL
Depending on the coil and device structure, it can be
evaluated in MTL and suitable RDL systems.
Strength Control
The coil and wattage used should be evaluated according
to the bottle's strength level.
The liquid being at a 50VG/50PG ratio does not mean it can
be used in the same way on all electronic cigarette coils
and devices.
Coil resistance, power level, and the actual strength information
on the bottle should be evaluated together.
